Summer Quarter at the University of Washington has something for everyone, with courses offered at several locations in the Puget Sound area and online. The majority of classes meet on the UW campus in Seattle, but there are also Summer Quarter classes held at UW Tacoma and UW Bothell.
There are two ways you can browse available courses:
- UW Time Schedule: The Time Schedule shows all courses available on the UW Seattle campus during a specific quarter, with courses broken down by individual college and academic department, such as the College of Arts and Sciences. To use the Time Schedule, click on the college name at the top of the page, then select a subject to see all the courses offered during Summer Quarter. Click on a course title to view its description in the course catalog. Separate time schedules list courses for Summer Quarter at UW Tacoma and UW Bothell.
- UW MyPlan: The MyPlan site is an academic planning tool that allows you to search for specific course topics and titles. You can filter your search by quarter, campus location, days and times. Click on a course title to view detailed information, including course description, prerequisites, class days and times, location and instructor name. To login to MyPlan, you’ll need to use your UW NetID, Facebook account or Google account.
For information on registering for classes, see the Registration & Costs section of this site.
