Race & Dis/ability (EDUC 300)

Explores what is illuminated about school and schooling when race and disability are considered together. Students will take up theories of intersectionality, social constructions of race and disability, DisCrit, and first person narratives of people of color with disabilities in order to explore contemporary schooling issues affecting this intersectional identity.
